All there is to know about CD duplication

DCD duplicating is the process of burning the image of an original CD onto another pre existing CD recordable media. CD duplication is typical to using the CD writer drive on most computers to create a copy of music, data, audio or software CD.

Professional CD duplication involves the use of high quality industrial duplicator tower that features several drives which enable one to burn several copies of a CD at given time. CD duplication is a good method of reproducing CDs within limited time; this process normally requires 2 to 3 days to complete a whole reproduction batch of 1000 discs.

CD duplicating is also suited for or is cheaper for reproducing copies which do not exceed 1000. This is because most CD duplication machines are not automated and as such a substantial amount of human labour is required for such an activity.
